“Everything was so well planned and coordinated. Our hikes were not just hikes, they were experiences.”
Hi there, I’m Leona.
Outdoor guide, wellness leader, creator of Your Force of Nature. Firm believer that by reconnecting with the natural world, we can harness our power to thrive as our truest self.
Several years ago, I grew tired of waiting for the weekend and generally feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and unfulfilled. While I will tell you that completely eliminating stress and overwhelm is still a dream; reconnecting to the natural world and the seasons on a daily basis, in a mindful and practical way, has made a huge difference in my life.
I have reclaimed my awe and inspiration of nature to lead my most wild and beautiful life in the secluded north woods of Minnesota.
Helping other women create space to do the same is one of my biggest passions, and leading retreats is one of my most favorite ways to do that. Combining my love for planning and love for leading in the outdoors, my retreats are a unique blend of nature, wellness, yoga, and community. I hope you’ll join me in the woods.

FAQ’s:
Requirements: You do not need prior yoga or adventure experience to attend. We recommend being comfortable to hike on flat ground for 2-3 hours. This retreat is for women ages 18+.
Campsite: We are staying at a secluded group tent campsite within the park. There is a bathroom building including flush toilets and running water, with electricity. There is also an open-sided shelter at the site which will be used for meal prep and in case of inclement weather. Showers are located down the road at the larger public campground area. Participants should bring a tent, pillow, sleeping pad and sleeping bag - extras are available if needed. Campers/Fish houses/etc. are not allowed at the group camp site - this retreat is “in tents!”
Details: A detailed packing list and meal preference survey will be sent out prior to the retreat to all registered participants.
COVID: COVID health and safety guidelines from the State and CDC will be followed for this event. Since this is a 100% outdoor event, masks will not be required for any part of this retreat, but are optional if you would prefer to wear one.
